Matt Whitson
Matt is a family man, married for 9 years to Candice, they have 3 kids, Xander, Aedyn and Freya and four fur kids Nala, Champ, Ziggy and Neo (pictured).
Matt has been active in the dog training industry for over a decade, with experience working with all breeds, temperaments and behavior issues. He decided to open his own business so that he could utilize all the tools and methods he has learned over the years from working with his mentors in the industry. Having a broad range of training abilities is what we believe sets him apart. He is an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator and AKC Star Puppy Instructor.
He loves being an active part of the rescue world, working closely with organizations such as Misfit Angels Dog Rescue and Paws & Think Detroit Dog Rescue, by helping dogs to transition and flourish in their new homes by providing help with training.
Working with our Nations Military, Veterans and First Respondents is also very close to his heart, and his way of saying Thank You to the Brave men and women who serve and have served our country.
