Matt Whitson
Matt is a devoted family man, happily married to Candice and proud dad to three amazing kids — Xander, Aedyn, and Freya. Their home is full of love (and fur!) thanks to their four dogs: Bacon, Toast, Francine, and X. You may even catch a glimpse of the kids in training videos from time to time — it’s truly a family affair!
With over 16 years of hands-on experience in the dog training industry, Matt has worked with dogs of every breed, temperament, and behavioral background. His deep-rooted passion for helping both dogs and their owners led him to open his own business, where he could fully apply the tools, methods, and wisdom he’s gained through years of mentorship and practice.
Dog training is an ever-evolving field, and Matt embraces that wholeheartedly. He is constantly expanding his skills and knowledge to ensure every dog receives exactly what they need — because no two dogs are the same.
What sets Matt apart is his versatile and well-rounded approach to training. He is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, an AKC STAR Puppy Instructor, and is certified in remote collar training. His broad skill set allows him to customize training to suit the unique needs of each dog and family.
Matt also holds a special place in his heart for our Nation’s Military, Veterans, and First Responders. Working with them is not only a privilege but also his way of giving back and saying thank you to the brave men and women who serve and have served our country.
